No Gift Policy
Building a strong and transparent corporate culture is a key factor in conducting sustainable and trustworthy business operations—especially in the technology industry, which is driven by trust and accountability. Good Corporate Governance therefore lies at the heart of building confidence among all stakeholders, including customers, business partners, shareholders, employees, and society.
To enhance transparency standards, reduce corruption risks, and encourage everyone to uphold business ethics, MFEC has established a “No Gift Policy.” This policy outlines guidelines regarding the giving and receiving of gifts or any other benefits to ensure that business decisions are made based on professionalism, fairness, and integrity.
What is the No Gift Policy and Why Is It Important?
The No Gift Policy is a guideline established by the organization to “refrain from giving and receiving” gifts, tokens, or any other benefits that may cause misunderstandings or be interpreted as influencing business decisions.
-
Reduce the risk of bribery or conflicts of interest
-
Promote fairness in procurement and partner selection processes
-
Maintain the trust of customers, business partners, and shareholders
-
Foster a transparent, accountable, and ethical working culture
Guidelines for the No Gift Policy
To ensure consistent standards across the organization, MFEC has established the following clear practices:
1) Refraining from Accepting Gifts from Customers and Business Partners
Employees at all levels must not accept gifts, tokens, or any other benefits—whether during festive seasons or on special occasions—to prevent misunderstandings and minimize the risk of allegations in business operations.
2) Expressing Goodwill Through Alternative Means
MFEC encourages expressing goodwill through transparent methods such as email greetings, electronic cards, or thank-you messages via appropriate communication channels instead of giving gifts.
3) Reporting and Submitting Gifts When Unavoidable
If it is necessary to accept a gift due to regulatory requirements or social customs, employees must report and submit the gift to the relevant department for review in accordance with the organization’s established procedures to ensure transparency and prevent potential concerns.
Request for Cooperation from Customers, Partners, and Employees
MFEC seeks cooperation from all customers, business partners, and employees to comply with the No Gift Policy in order to uphold shared standards of business ethics and good corporate governance.
We believe that sustainable relationships are not built on gifts, but on trust, professionalism, and transparent collaboration.
