MFEC Public Company Limited, or MFEC, has introduced an environmental policy with the commitment to reduce the negative environmental impact of its business and operations. To support this initiative, MFEC launched the “SavePower SaveWater SaveOurWorld,” which is environmental management and conservation campaign aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and the organization’s goal of reducing water usage and electricity consumption by 10% by 2027. Additionally, the campaign aims to raise awareness among employees about the importance of conserving water and energy, inspiring their active participation in sustainable practices that maximize resource efficiency and environmental benefits.

The “SavePower SaveWater SaveOurWorld” environmental management and conservation campaign has received excellent cooperation from employees across the organization. After reviewing MFEC’s water and electricity usage and expenses from the base years 2018 to 2022, it was found that water consumption and costs have shown a steady decline, while electricity usage and costs have fluctuated according to previous records. The rise in electricity usage and costs may be attributed to official price increases by the Metropolitan Electricity Authority and the return to onsite work after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The organization revisited its processes using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) approach, implementing ongoing conservation measures to achieve its target of reducing water and electricity usage by 10% by 2027. Additionally, the office-wide participation in environmental management campaigns, such as the “Clean Office for New Year” initiative and 5S the activities, demonstrated strong employee engagement in fostering a positive and comfortable working environment.

Organizational Environment Improvement Activity
Employees are invited to participate in fostering a positive office environment through the “Clean Office for New Year” initiative (5S activity). The organization has provided cleaning supplies for employees to conveniently access over a five-day period.
