Creating a strong and transparent corporate culture is essential for sustainable and reliable business operations. Adherence to Good Corporate Governance policy lies at the core of fostering confidence among all stakeholders. MFEC has, therefore, established a policy and guidelines regarding the giving and receiving of gifts or other benefits to ensure transparency within the organization, reduce the risk of corruption, and promote commitment to business ethics among all members.
Guidelines for the Giving and Receiving of Gifts Policy
The organization has implemented strict guidelines on the giving and receiving of gifts or other benefits, as follows:
- Refraining from Accepting Gifts from Business Partners, Clients, and Other Stakeholders – Employees at all levels are prohibited from accepting gifts, gratuities, or any form of benefit, whether during special occasions or otherwise, to prevent misunderstandings in business operations.
- Expressing Goodwill through Alternative Means – Employees are encouraged to use electronic channels to convey well wishes instead of giving physical gifts. This may include sending messages, e-cards, or other digital greetings as a way to express goodwill without the need for tangible gifts.
- Reporting Gift Reception – When it is necessary to accept a gift due to specific requirements or social customs, employees must report and submit the gift for review according to specified procedures. This ensures transparency and prevents potential misunderstandings.
The no-gift policy is a crucial measure for mitigating bribery risks and promoting transparency throughout all business processes. MFEC GROUP is committed to driving the organization forward with strong ethical standards and Good Corporate Governance policy, believing that transparent and ethical business practices are key to long-term success and sustainability.
